Pay attention, masks are different for the two attacks, so yes, estimated times will be different. Actually defining the mask for the second one could be a great idea.

Never heard of that 'gpu' I doubt it can do much or if it can do opencl. If it does, and you have the correct driver for it, it should work, otherwise you'll have to use the cpu.

It doesn't matter, as long as it's FE it should be the same.

The '>' meaning at least maxwell, starting with maxwell nvidia gpu got way better at hashcracking, pascal is good too.

Stay away from amd, stay away from dual gpu cards, get reference/FE, get nvidia > maxwell. So, 1080, easy answer.

Reminder that there is no "decryption" for a hash. Then you're not telling hashcat what to do, so it's waiting for input (something that can be easily spotted with "Starting attack in stdin mode..." ...

You define a charset but you don't use it. Run hashcat without any option, read the output, see if you could have missed something (hint: the mask).

In the first command line you used "-output-file" with a single dash so it's using the short option "-o". Read the --help, in hashcat 3 it is either "-o" or "--outfile" to specify the output file. ...
