Thread: Why closed source?
Post: RE: Why closed source?
The only reason why the hashcat team doesn't open source hashcat is because they don't want people to have the source. Probably because they want to keep the "fame" for themselves. Nothing else makes ... |

Indeed it hasn't. Back then I decided on purpose not to get 8 "cores" because these are not real cores and can boost only ~30% (don't know how much it with Hashcat is) and the price didn't outfit the ... |

All these benchmark/review sites should add Hashcat to their list.
165watt TDP is indeed very good. Still waiting for the hc benchmarks. |

interested in 970 benchmarks. there's supposed to be a 20nm version coming later? wonder if it consumes even less watts. I might get a 20nm 970. |

Hi,
I understand that it's probably not of such an importance due to performance reasons, but is the Iris Pro 5200 GPU supported? If not, what performance do you estimate to expect of it (I mean the p... |

GT650M has 384

Hello,
will I be able to put two same cards in this (https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z87%20Pro4/) one? (it says it has "1 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16, 2 x PCIe 2.0 x1" I'm not sure) |

Ok. I was unsure because it says "1 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16" not "2 x PCIe 3.0 x16", but if it doesn't make a difference (for hashcat at least, not gaming) that's good. |
