I am starting to wonder if the drop in performance would be so bad for WPA cracking as it would for MD5 for example. I suspect the drop will be different for each.

I think there must be a limit with the new beta. If I use a 1.7GB input file I can see hcstatgen working away and it displays the lines it is going through, it also takes nearly 60 seconds. However ... |

Sure, but it probably isn't much use. The word list is in the same directory as hcstatgen.exe.

If anyone wants to see the results from the code above on their HUGE text files then this viewer (http://www.swiftgear.com/ltfviewer/LTFViewr.zip) is just about the only one that can open anything.
