if they made desktop motherboards with 8 pcie slots than definitely 8xhd7970 than say 4xhd7990. not to mention you'd have to build a custom case using pcie raiser cables, multiple power supply, etc.....

best setup would be 4x 7990. because it gives you 8 GPU in a single system without having to go to 4U server chassis

he knows the password no need to brute force. try using a different cracking tool. if successful then the handshake capture is good and there's something going on with hachcat or conversion from pcap ...

try moving the file.txt and the hccap files the hashcat folder. Then your command line will be: oclHashcat64.exe -m 2500 23908_1411573086.hccap file.txt

in your original example you have -output-file you must use --output-file (notice 2 dashes) or simply use -o out.txt

anyone willing to share how they "un-rule" a wordlist to get base words? I've been using sed and awk to remove numbers and special char but not sure if that's the best way to tackle this...

even though hashcat sees all 8 GPU without dummy plugs, CCC doesn't allow you to modify fan speed since it thinks the cards are disabled. so i went to linux which seems to work a lot better.

With superuser permissions, enter the command: aticonfig --uninstall for sdk you just need to delete the directories.
