if they made desktop motherboards with 8 pcie slots than definitely 8xhd7970 than say 4xhd7990. not to mention you'd have to build a custom case using pcie raiser cables, multiple power supply, etc..... |

best setup would be 4x 7990. because it gives you 8 GPU in a single system without having to go to 4U server chassis |

Thread: No such file or folder oclhashcat win amd
Post: RE: No such file or folder oclhashcat win amd
try moving the file.txt and the hccap files the hashcat folder.
Then your command line will be:
oclHashcat64.exe -m 2500 23908_1411573086.hccap file.txt |

Thread: No output file... why?
Post: RE: No output file... why?
in your original example you have -output-file
you must use --output-file (notice 2 dashes)
or simply use -o out.txt |

anyone willing to share how they "un-rule" a wordlist to get base words?
I've been using sed and awk to remove numbers and special char but not sure if that's the best way to tackle this... |

I was looking at the MSI card earlier and noticed the opening in the front of it. Wasn't sure if that's an intake or an exhaust port. |

Thread: no more dummy plugs on windows?
Post: RE: no more dummy plugs on windows?
even though hashcat sees all 8 GPU without dummy plugs, CCC doesn't allow you to modify fan speed since it thinks the cards are disabled. so i went to linux which seems to work a lot better. |
