Post: RE: Need spec assistance on a build
also the limit of AMD driver is 8GPU per machine, so your goal of 60,000 M/s won't happen unless the soon to release HD 7990 can get 15,000 M/s per card. |

That motherboard is going to choke airflow with 4 cards. you'll want two slot separation between PCIe connectors. Unfortunately no motherboard exist for this.

Thread: no more dummy plugs on windows?
Post: RE: no more dummy plugs on windows?
even though hashcat sees all 8 GPU without dummy plugs, CCC doesn't allow you to modify fan speed since it thinks the cards are disabled. so i went to linux which seems to work a lot better. |

Thread: No output file... why?
Post: RE: No output file... why?
in your original example you have -output-file
you must use --output-file (notice 2 dashes)
or simply use -o out.txt |

Post: RE: No such file or folder oclhashcat win amd
try moving the file.txt and the hccap files the hashcat folder.
Then your command line will be:
oclHashcat64.exe -m 2500 23908_1411573086.hccap file.txt |

yes but you need to add the ?a for each position of the password length. for example if you think the password is 6 characters then you need
?a?a?a?a?a?a
for 8 characters you want
?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a

I'm confused. so are you running -m 1900 for SL3? I thought atom removed support for it in lite 0.13 so how are you running the command without error? |
