But even something "slow" may still find a password, if left running long enough.
Could the left and right dictionaries with rules per each side, but with bigger sizes, be put into the CPU hashcat,... |

Right. Because those machine-generated passwords clutter up and make word lists less efficient. And when word lists get combined, the clutter/crap/noise increases geometrically.

Yes, now it works.
My usual practice after extracting a hashcat related archive is to keep the *64.exe, then delete the *32.exe, along with *.bin, *.sh, etc. That's why I also had deleted the *.h ... |

The best64.rule set is small enough to examine by eye.
"Append" rules like $0 will always change the input word.
But "overwrite" rules like the o0d above won't change the input word if it alread... |

Using the hashcat-utils' combinator.exe is likely quicker than combinator.py.
And the new (but undocumented) combinator3.exe creates the in-between 12 character combinations, e.g.:
