On my Win7 64-bit machine, with oclHashcat-plus running, mp64 essentially disregards the keyboard, so that Pause or Control-C doesn't work.

Thread: Exclude mask range
Post: RE: Exclude mask range
An idea I use is to have all four possible custom charsets defined, then have a series planned that builds but does not duplicate.
The many subsets can be run via some sort of a script. |

Something like that.
Knowing the times of each also helps to group them so you can plan their running.
Also in case you have different speed targets or number of targets. |

Post: RE: md5stress on Windows with Nvidia?
Yes, now it works.
My usual practice after extracting a hashcat related archive is to keep the *64.exe, then delete the *32.exe, along with *.bin, *.sh, etc. That's why I also had deleted the *.h ... |

Thread: NVIDIA GTX 980 & 970 MSI Afterburner 4 settings
Post: NVIDIA GTX 980 & 970 MSI Afterburner 4 settings
Has anyone found settings using MSI Afterburner 4 for the new NVIDIA GTX 980 & 970 cards that improve their use for hash cracking?
Or should I be using PrecisionX 16 instead? |

Is the .dicstat file for the whole directory of dictionaries given in the command for that session?
Does it accumulate over time, or created new if a different directory of dictionaries is given? |
