Thread: Using WPA2 DK PSK (derrived Key) instead of 4Way Handshake

So are you just trying to crack the WPA2 password? If so then just capture the four way handshake and do the pcap to hccap. Then you run hashcat on the hccap. |

More would increase the speed. Nvidia is not good for cracking period. Your better off using an AMD card if you have one. |

Thread: Password Cracker - Enterprise Constraints
Post: RE: Password Cracker - Enterprise Constraints
I am pretty sure that your best bet is going to be the AMD FirePro W1700. You seem like you did your research before. The reason I say the AMD card is due to the NVIDIA ones not having the Maxwell arc... |

Thread: No Output of Cracked Hashes
Post: RE: No Output of Cracked Hashes
You did not crack any hashes? Do you see the Recovered line? see the 0/number of hashes? That means you have cracked 0 hashes so no hashes should be in your out file |

Thread: cracking sha256 with a 2 digit salt
Post: RE: cracking sha256 with a 2 digit salt
well if the salt is prepended then you are not using the right mode. it should be 1420.
As for the line line length exception are you sure the format is right? look at

Thread: Mask Problems

Removing the -i will not make a difference of it not being cracked or not unless it is not 8 characters. I don't think you have the right charset or the right length |
