| hashcat doesn't control GPU fan speed which is basically what your issue boils down to. That's controlled by the GPU's firmware but can be overridden with fan speed control software such as MSI Afterb... |

| Apologies. The source where I found this this said passwords but this actually only contains SHA1 hashes of the MySpace passwords.
Still good for practising though as SHA1 is a fast hash.... |

6870: 58,579 H/s WPA
5870 is 35% faster than 6870.
