Post: RE: Dictionary for long passwords - Tips and ideas
For a passphrase approach, I strongly recommend the prince-processor from the hashcat-utils (pp64). It builds candidate by concatenating the words contained in the input list to a given length output.... |

Thread: Deep Learning on wordlist.
Post: RE: Deep Learning on wordlist.
I do have experience with this one. If you want to train PassGan on your own dictionaries, you should definetly use some real world data (comparable to rockyou) that contains duplicates. Otherwise the... |

Hey all,
as we had to learn from nVidia, their FE cards will come with axial cooler solutions. We ordered 2x 2080Ti FE at my conpany, as nearly everyone here is really swearing on FE cards in gene... |

Thank you for the quick response.
So you would prefer any radial cooler I assume. Would be interesting to see a custom radial cooler for the FE cards, but thats just a quick thought...

Sorry vagantis, saw your post too late :p
The Gray Matter looks reasonable, but I am not sure how good it is to blow the hot air from the GPUs over the Board, assuming the airflow is meant to be fr... |

Sorry for the late response, here is an update for the planning of the build.
Concerning @soxrok2212 's question, according to hwinfo, one of our single 2080 Ti's peaked at 280W during a real hashc... |

Thread: GPU recommendations
Post: RE: GPU recommendations
I think blower style is always recommended, if you put more than one card into a machine, especially if you already have an airflow, that suits blower style cards.
According to @GrepItAll (https://ha... |

AFAIK, every GPU which has an OpenCL implementation is supported by Hashcat.
You should have RAM >= VRAM in general, so 2 x 3 GB are not sufficient. I suppose this a typo and you meant 4 GB anyways... |

Thread: First Cracking Rig
Post: RE: First Cracking Rig
If you can afford it, going with a threadripper is a good idea imo, since the smallest one (1900X) is available for a decent price ( ~ 280 € in my country) and they boast 64 PCIe lanes, which is mor... |

Seems a bit outdated to me, so you will be restricted to DDR3 memory and older CPUs, but it should still work, I think.
