Just use a forum search for simple problems like this.
"Hash" means that it's a literal hash, while "Hash File" means that it's trying to load a file.

They either provide just a too long list of possibilities or totally wrong / stupid results.

-a 3 is mask attack ("brute-force").
This makes no sense with a dictionary like rockyou.txt. For dictionary attacks you need to use -a 0 (word lists). |
