look up hashtopus. I believe it is now called hashtopussy. It supports distributed hashcat, but dont ask for help on these forums if you have issues. Go to the forums dedicated to that software.

Upgrade your 7 pro to 10 pro, it will see and run all 8 gpus. You can still upgrade to 10 for free, just do a quick search to find out how.

1U rackmount with 4 GPUs just sounds to me like heat problems waiting to happen. I can't see any blown up pictures of that model, but if rack space isn't an issue, why not go with a 4U like the SuperM...

Here you go @Vidramon, there are two cards in this particular machine, separated by an air gap and a 120mm case fan to keep them from cooking each other. hashcat (v3.6.0) starting in benchmark mode...

It looks like it was knocked out of center somehow. The fan blades appear to be wobbling. Not sure how to fix that other than to try replacing that left fan.
