Do not use hashcat on a laptop.. If you want better performance use hashcat a better GPU like 2080.

We don't crack hashes here. Same for atom. Your wallet may uses Scrypt, which is slow as hell. Note that if you give your 12 words + password, one can get the master private key, and steal your fund...

Exactly, I use hashcat on a lowcost i3, and cudahashcat on a high-class GPU that's why my I would always prefer using GPU tools.
