Thread: What is the speed of Hashcat for cracking wallet.dat using GPU?
Post: RE: What is the speed of Hashcat for cracking wall...
If I am not mistaken the speed also depends on the iterations count (hashcat benchmark takes 199999)
Here is another benchmark for 10 * GTX 2080 Ti (source (https://www.onlinehashcrack.com/tools-benc... |

You can rent as much GPUs as you want (Amazon, etc.) if you pay for. Can become expensive.

Thread: What problems can i have if i use --force mode?
Post: RE: What problems can i have if i use --force mode...
Hum this a really bad idea to use hashcat on VBox, as you cannot access to your GPUs.
Use directly hashcat windows binary if you are on Windows, you don't need to install linux. |

Got it.
And :
- Currently I have 165kh/s for WPA, any hints for the GTX 980 ?
- What about noise and power consumption with -w 3 : more or less than my 290 ? |

Thread: When CPU at 100%, loss of ocl performance ?
Post: RE: When CPU at 100%, loss of ocl performance ?
oclhashcat command line is already with -a (I do a digits only bruteforce on WPA) so no dictonnary needed).
With ocl-plus 0.15 it works ok but not anymore with v1.00.

Please paste your command line AND output of each (v4 and v5). Do not use --force.
"I need to use the --self-test-disable option" -> means that you probably have a driver issue.

It's Base64
Don't need to bruteforce, you can simply reverse it as it's encoded and not encrypted
