Post: [solved] Win7-64 crash Lists to blame?

Post: Stepped attacking to learn
Of four hashes I'm working against, I've created one just to test results. It doesn't crack (12 characters, none 'special'). Since everything looks so equally intense to me (attack types, table creati... |

Thread: We NEED your help!
Post: RE: We NEED your help!
That's an interesting problem if you don't mind such a new user chiming in. The need to organize is universal. I'd see if something like scientific name formats could help if you want to stay with num... |

Thread: Hashcat to clean a wordlist
Post: RE: Hashcat to clean a wordlist
Great results and thank you! -q has a minimum of 2 so that filter on ?d?d?d?d would begin 1212 where -q 1 would have given that golden 1234 to begin. Not a big deal and still a big help.

Thread: Hashcat to clean a wordlist
Post: Hashcat to clean a wordlist
I read in a two-year-old post that Hashcat can identify doubles of letters. I have a very basic word list I'm toying with of just 4K words, each four letters. I have no hash to throw it at, but would ... |
