Hashcat CPU has a table-lookup attack . I think that would be more appropriate for that case .. see here https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=table_lookup_beginner_guide

md5unix , yes it can be cracked with ocl -m 500 500 = md5crypt, MD5(Unix), FreeBSD MD5, Cisco-IOS MD5
