I installed Bumblebee so I could manage the power conspumtion of my NVidia GT650M.
Hashcat was running fine before, but after that I keep getting the following error:

Thread: Noob question. Cracking single unsalted md5
Post: Noob question. Cracking single unsalted md5
I'm getting started with hashcat, trying to crack a simple md5 hash.
I've read a few tutorials, but most of them use lists. I want to generate a hash (11, in this example), then crack it specifically... |

Thread: custom workload
Post: custom workload
Hi.
I want to have the same GPU running multiple instances of hashcat, allocating custom workloads for each instance.
For example:instance 1: 20% of the workload
instance 2: 30% of the workload

Thanks for your reply royce.
Your idea is not bad. But ideally, I'd like to have multiple instances running in parallel. I don't want to establish a timeframe a priori.
I have come up with a metri... |

This is more of a theoretical question.
I need to know what is the mathematical relation between the number of GPUs being used and the cracking speed.
For example, for a fixed kind of GPU, I hav... |

Yes, if the keyspace to search is large enough, it would be 10X.
Basically you can simply sum up all speeds, there's no loss due to parallelization. Hashcat ... |
