That's a difficult question. The GTX cards have a base clock and a boost clock, which is automatically generated by the base clock value. Each manufacturer chooses a certain base clock for his card, s...

You don't need an expensive server chassis with even more expensive dual CPUs. I you calculate all systems costs together, the GTX1070 does not have the best price-performance-ratio. Usually the be...

A Laptop is the least choice for hashcracking. It's not designed to absorb heat for a lomng time. Short burts like games are ok. But a hashcat session will let the speed drop significantly due to thro...

Usually low utilization comes from unsufficient workload for the GPU. Let's concentrate on your hashcat command line. How does it look like?

You're missing an attack mode, but that's ok. The dictionary mode is just simply trying out words as password candidates. That's not very effective. Add a rule from the hashcat rule directory like "be...

Forget the video games. The best64.rule already raised the utilization. Try the rockyou-30000.rule or dive.rule.

First of all, you're using an outdated graphic driver. Try to install 14.9 instead of 14.4. Maybe the solution is very simple: if this (https://www.deepcool.com/product/dcoolingaccessory/vga/2013-1...
