Thread: Nvidia GTX Titan X Benchmarks
Post: RE: Nvidia GTX Titan X Benchmarks
The upcoming 980Ti will use the same chip, has only 6GB of RAM (still very fine for Hashcat) and speed should be at least the same if not higher.
Next year a new kid will rock up the place named Pasc... |

But I'm a bit disappointed that the Titan X is only 30% faster than the GTX 980.

Thread: R9 Fury Nitro 1100 mhz gpu clock - so slow - why ?

The RX 480 was never advertised as the flagship product. By price and number of shaders that would still be clearly the Fury X, which I wanted to see performing in Hashcat, but then the heat/power/thr... |

After all this mud wrestling lets get back to the original question.
The upcoming Vega chip is supposed to have an updated architecture. Instead of GCN AMD themselves call it now NCU (New Generation ... |

You could just use those exact three words and have the same proof of concept. Or add a few and test it with 10 words each. Blowing up the wordlist only makes the process longer, but does not contribu... |

The 290X makes over 35M p/s / $ in MD5. Not too shabby for that old stick. |

Thread: Ryzen OpenCL benchmarks?
Post: RE: Ryzen OpenCL benchmarks?
But Ryzen also comes with AVX2 and since you can get an 8-core CPU instead of a 4-core for the same money, there can be quite a difference. Like always, we'll have to wait and see. |

Do we have a comparison somewhere? I recon in MD5 it seems quite fast for a CPU and bcrypt looks kind of slow. |
