Dude, please, I now don't even know what your problem is about. That guy in the video powers one GPU with an extra power supply, just as I mentioned above it's possible. It's still a big "be careful!"...

Post: RE: GPU not working 4 gig nvidea card weird!

The GT730 is a very low end card that's a few years old. It came in two versions, with 384 or 96 cores and different frequencies. For example, an older GTX980 has 2048 cores, a newer GTX1080Ti has 358...

Did you set the fan speed up? 33% is very optimistic for a 7990. They should run >70% all the time to keep the temps down. Plus the upper card (device 1) has some temp issues, you can detect that at t...

Post: RE: Hashing Test leaves GPU at 95° C

The clock rate is not as important as the yoltage. You need to underclock the GPUs, so you can lower the voltage of the cards. It should drop under 1.25v for the 290x, save would be 1.2v to get a stea...

Then you should seriously keep temps under 90 or better 85°. The heat needs to get out of the chassis. Is it a standard 290x with radial cooler? Or some OEM model?

Yes. And that specific model is not very optimal for hashcracking.
