The newest rumors suggest a GTX1080 at the end of May with GP104, 8GB GDDR5-RAM and only one 8-pin, so max. power 225W.

Volta will be very likely launched/available for the comsumer market in Q1 2018, early Q2 2018 the latest. And the coming up card will be again around 70% faster as its predecessor, the GTX1080. Navi...

Maybe it's time for a new kind of benchmark. A dozen hashes that can be cracked with a wordlist and some rule set that powers out a GPU at 100%. In the commen formats MD5, SHA-1 and maybe NTLMv2 or so...

transout, I might be wrong but the memory shown by Hashcat is only 3072MB, although all 290X have 4GB+. Maybe that's your source of probs.

5x GTX 970 and a 1kw PSU is not a very clever idea for many reasons. The PSU will always operates at its limit. That's bad for a) life endurance, b) noise, c) power costs and d) stability. A PSU works...

Whyever AMD does that, but this is correct. The 14.4 driver shows as 14_10 in the device manager, the 14.7 shows as 14_20. Same over here and totally correct. 14.7 is just the package number including...
