Ok, let's compare factory specs to factory specs then:
Titan X - 3072 * 1215000000 = 3732480000000
Tesla P100 - 3584 * 1480000000 = 5304320000000

Well 1075 Mhz is the "Average Boost" not the "Max Boost." A stock, non-SC Titan X will run at 1215 Mhz when cracking with oclHashcat.

It certainly does matter what Titan X shows under hashcat because this is the hashcat forums and how the card performs under hashcat is all we care about...

The Bitcoin exchange rate is completely unstable due to speculations. As long as that problem is not solved, no economic success willl occur.

Agreed about the waste of energy. And if you're going to do it, get an ASIC which will be far more efficient than a GPU https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com... |

Thread: 7 GPU set-up

In your case it does not make any sense to buy seven GTX970. Buy 4 GTX980Ti instead, get the same GPU power but without the complication of two chassis, what btw saves you a good bunch of money. That'... |

Thread: need help to Finish my first Rig of 8 GPU titan x? (perhaps somthing is missing?)
Post: RE: need help to Finish my first Rig of 8 GPU tita...
Don't chose a GTX980 since it's wasted in this machine. Go for Titan X or 980Ti.
You always have to compare the price/performance value on a machine level, not on the GPU level. |

You're really funny man...what did you expect? That's a standard so there is as much space between the cards as there always was. Don't get me wrong but it sounds like you're not too experienced. And ... |

That's a difficult question. The GTX cards have a base clock and a boost clock, which is automatically generated by the base clock value. Each manufacturer chooses a certain base clock for his card, s... |

You could just use those exact three words and have the same proof of concept. Or add a few and test it with 10 words each. Blowing up the wordlist only makes the process longer, but does not contribu... |

Thread: Build advice
Post: RE: Build advice
A 10-core CPU is not necessary. If you need this system only for hashcracking there are cheaper configurations possible with LGA1151. I'd prefer three 1080Ti over four 1080. |

I personally don't like open cases. You have to be extremly careful around them. I prefer a closed case and a high rate of airflow. Plus carrying them around is way more difficult. |

How about alternatives from Super Power, SilverStone or Corsair? They all have Titanium PSUs with 1500-1600W and should be from equal quality to EVGA. |
