You can specify the devices you want to use. Cut it down until it runs or bump up the RAM. |

One reason why AMD and hashcat are not the most proper combo. |

Thread: Best 6x GPU case / chassis
Post: RE: Best 6x GPU case / chassis
The Graymatter to me looks like a piece of garbage. The GPUs are exhausting into the mainboard/PSU area and from there no fans are pumping some air out. That's some kind of home made bullshit design. ... |

Did you set the fan speed up? 33% is very optimistic for a 7990. They should run >70% all the time to keep the temps down. Plus the upper card (device 1) has some temp issues, you can detect that at t... |

Post: RE: GPU not working 4 gig nvidea card weird!
The GT730 is a very low end card that's a few years old. It came in two versions, with 384 or 96 cores and different frequencies. For example, an older GTX980 has 2048 cores, a newer GTX1080Ti has 358... |

You say you clone the hdd to another rig. Is that rig of the same hardware like the one with the 5870? If not, this is a potential troublemaker. Try to dump a plain Windows system on the 6950 rig and ... |

I think you're starting at the wrong end.
What does your company need to crack? How much hashing power does your company need? Is time unlimited or pre-defined?
The 1080Ti is always the best option... |

Thread: Hashing Test leaves GPU at 95° C
Post: RE: Hashing Test leaves GPU at 95° C
The clock rate is not as important as the yoltage. You need to underclock the GPUs, so you can lower the voltage of the cards. It should drop under 1.25v for the 290x, save would be 1.2v to get a stea... |

Then you should seriously keep temps under 90 or better 85°. The heat needs to get out of the chassis. Is it a standard 290x with radial cooler? Or some OEM model? |

Yes. And that specific model is not very optimal for hashcracking. |

Using the 7049 would require Xeon Phi processors as it's LGA 3647 on the board, which are veeeeery pricey!
