Post: RE: Network support
I will give it a shot. It seems as if cryptohaze will support this right out of the box and uses opencl to operate the cpus, however, hashcat has much more algorithms available. |

Post: RE: HD7950, HD5870, or HD5970
I am not really locked into one of these options, but would like something around the $300-$400 range with a reference cooler. So if there are others I am not listing feel free to add. |

Post: RE: 8 x AMD HD7970 @ 1050MHz
Interesting, by the looks of the design the case is made to force air through the gpus as there isn't a whole lot of other exhaust ports. My case has 3 - 180mm fans, they push a ton of air through, b... |

How does that work? Doesn't the gpu just heat up right away? Kinda like running a cpu without some kind of cooler? |

Has anyone tried the 7990 yet? I would think it would be pretty hard to keep cool especially if you have 4 of them side by side. |

I was afraid heat would be a problem with those cards based on how the fans looked. I will be interested to know the results of putting it in a server case with better fans. |

Yes similar, I would think either method listed in that post would work, but I was unable to find if it was being worked on. It looks like atom says it is possible. |
