WPA/WPA2 with different personal levels of encryption TKIP/AES doesn't make it anymore difficult on capturing a handshake to attack a PSK. |

I haven't got the 7990 anymore but the mem clock on that was set at 1500Mhz.
Nevertheless i pushed the mem clocks on the on the 290x's to 1500 from 1250, though still the same.

Drivers are fine, I think problem relates to you using 14.04 you need Ubuntu 12.04.3. |

Initial testing on the v14.4 drivers is raising my twin 290x's cards 5-8c hotter even when i down clock them to 925mhz core than the usual 1030mhz, So in turn i'm hit... |

No need for two occurences of x in your charset or any for that matter unless it's the opposite case.
Say your pass you set was 12345678, use this as your charset it should crack near enough instantl... |

You can use it in this fashion...... zxx?l?l?l?l?l in a mask directly but not with a specified charset, it's just pointless and would be ignored in any case.

From under your art work it looks like you have username and hash seperated by a colon, add the --username parameter to your command if you want to run it that way |

You do know that piping crunch or mask processor to hashcat greatly! reduces your speed right?

Sky routers have sequential letters in their keys like AABCDEFG
Using the flag -q 2 ,You'd miss the chance of hitting the key like the above example.
But if that's what your after -q 2 will make sur... |
